CapitolGrille_ChristopherMeier_picThe newest Bailey’s Prime Plus is minus an exec chef, two weeks after opening for business.

Co-executive chef Chris Meier, formerly of Capital Grille and now formerly of Bailey’s Prime Plus, shared leadership duties with chef Izzy Voirin, who will continue as execuchef.

I have to disagree with you Mavs. I have worked with Chef Meier 3 of the 9 years I have known him. He has never given less than 100% of his efforts when in the kitchen. He is a thinker and always finding ways to improve guest relations as well as the bottom line. He is a workhorse and a great teacher. I have no concerns over whether Chef Chris will be a success in Dallas.

Let’s be honest, since you feel as though you need to delete my previous post….

Mr. Meier has left on bad terms with everywhere he has worked. He has an aggressive temper and is very much that way with the staff. Scott, I would reconsider hiring Chris. His lack of unprofessionalism, his anger, his lack of culinary skills reinstate the fact that he shouldn’t be given all these chances. Again, a lesson to be learned….

    Hi Scott,
Call Bailey’s–they can probably help you track him down. And he’s likely already seen your post.

Could you get me the info to get in touch with Chris Meier. I would be interested in talking about a position for him.

Interesting — and unfortunate — timing.

Today (Wednesday) is Bailey’s PP’s first day of lunch service.

    Ouch.
