Heart Association Fundraiser: Artisinal Pizzas & Wines for $20 On September 29

Who has the best pizza in Dallas? I’m kinda partial to Dough Pizzeria (you can read my review in next month’s Modern Luxury Magazine), Fireside Pies (I gave the store in Plano four stars when I reviewed it for the Dallas Morning News, but I like the food at the Fort Worth Fireside location better), and Coal Vines.

You might like something different. Maybe you’re a better judge than me.

Well, let’s find out.

The American Heart Association is bringing three mobile pizza artisans together for a pizza smackdown on Thursday, September 29, in the West Village. From 6pm til 9pm. $20 buys you free wine from Pogo’s plus ample samples from Cavalli Pizzeria, Il Cane Rosso, and Urban Crust. The event kicks off the American Heart Association’s big annual fundraiser, the Cotes du Coeur.
