Raiser Grazer: Dine-Around on March 4 raises money for culinary scholarships

The Dallas chapter of Les Dames d’Escoffier is back at it: raising money for scholarships,  feeding your pie hole, and calling each other Dame. No word on whether Dame Edna will be there, but Dame TG usually shows up.

This year’s soiree takes place on Sunday, March 4, from 5 p.m. – 8 p.m. at Dallas’ Union Station, 400 S. Houston St. The food and wine sampling event will feature about 25 female chefs, winemakers, and bon vivant purveyors from North Texas.

According to Dame Karol Wilson, a member who leads the group’s marketing efforts,  Dames d’Escoffier is a worldwide philanthropic society of professional women leaders in the food, fine beverage and hospitality industries. Membership in one of the 28 Dames chapters across the United States, Canada and the United Kingdom is by invitation only.  The Dallas Chapter has 80 active members.
Tickets to the March 4 event, “Dames In The City,” are $50 each and available here online.
