That didn’t take long.
EscapeHatch has learned that Grant Morgan, who abruptly departed Bailey’s Prime Plus (along with sommelier Jennifer Jaco and Michael Ehlert, chef at Bailey’s sister restaurant The Chesterfield) less than two weeks ago, is the new executive chef of F2T hotspot the Ranch at Las Colinas.
“He’s a great fit for the Ranch,” says John Franke, the corporate chef of FrontBurner Restaurants, which owns the Ranch, Whiskey Cake Kitchen, Velvet Taco and Red Dog Right, among others. ”He’s inspired by the same things that inspire us– wholesome, locally grown ingredients, and farmers and chefs who care about the food we eat.”
Morgan takes over next week.
