My House Uptown, new restaurant across from Crescent Court, opening soon

My House Uptown, under construction at 2508 Maple Ave in Dallas, looks like a promising new restaurant and bar set to open sometime this summer.  The backyard pool is in (yep, so you can dine “poolside” under the palms) ”Ever thought of what it would be like to have a restaurant/bar/lounge that took the feel of some chic exotic vacation spot without the stuffiness or snobbery and placed it right smack in the middle of Uptown” asks their promotional page on Facebook.

“Under the stars, My House Uptown beds and candlelit tables create a dramatic setting around the pool with an electic mix of music created specifically to make you feel like you are on an exotic vacation.”

Lots of details still to come–been playing phone tag with the owners for a couple of weeks, but I’ll flesh out the details for you soon. In the meantime, doesn’t their tiramisu french toast look good?
