Help: Eden Creek Farm is In Trouble, and You Can Help
It’s fall harvest time, which means one thing: Charlie Brown and the Great Pumpkin. Okay, that’s two things. Three if you count Chefs for Farmers. Four if you add this:
Chef Graham Dodds and guest Chef Tim Bevins will be cooking together at Central 214 on October 18 for a five-course benefit dinner to help out Eden Creek Farm.
Dodds says it’s been a rough year for Eden, one of Dodd’s suppliers, and they need a little assistance. All the proceeds go to the farm, says Tresa Hardt, Central 214′s supertalented spokesmodel.
The dinner will include wine pairings from Red Caboose and a craft cocktail reception with barkeeps Amber West of Central 214 and Jason Kosmas with The 86 Company spirits (Cana Brava & Aylesbury Duck) and a billion other ventures.
(I hear Kosmas is also writing a Greek-themed cocktail menu for the new Greek place opening in One Arts Plaza–originally to be called Meze but that’s not it anymore.)
Anyway, you can buy your $110 ticket here: http://www.eventbrite.com/event/4453659014

I just bought my ticket. We should support our local farmers. Good job Graham.
