If your New Year’s resolution includes getting on Jeopardy or Top Chef, we can’t help you. But if you’ve penciled in “win free stuff from EscapeHatchDallas.com just for showing up,” you’re in luck. Our pals at AT&T are again partnering with the Hatch to give away some cool tech tools this year, and first on the list is a new, free Samsung Galaxy Tab 2. It’s like an Apple iPad mini only better…because it’s FREE.

Leave a comment below (through Facebook or leave your email address so we can contact you if you win), and you’ll automatically be entered in a drawing for a free AT&T Samsung Galaxy Tab 2, no strings attached. Just tell us what you think is the best new restaurant to open in the Dallas area in 2012. Extra points if if you’ll tell us why.

The Tab runs on WiFi plus AT&T’s 4G/LTE network (“the nation’s largest, covering 285 million people,” says AT&T), though the thing operates just fine on free WiFi.

(AT&T lists the value of the Tab as $499.99.  4G/LTE service on AT&T is an additional fee, but the Tab we’re giving away doesn’t require any contract or service commitment.)
