If you can’t get to Paris this summer, then let Paris come to you. Or at least let chef Christopher Hache from Rosewood Hotel’s  Hôtel de Crillon, in Paris, come to you.

Hache, a Michelin-starred chef, will be cooking with Bruno Davaillon, also a starred chef and the top toque at Rosewood’s Mansion on Turtle Creek, in the Mansion’s restaurant July 11-19, including Bastille Day, Monday, July 14. I think Davaillon is among the best chefs in Texas. Can’t wait to see what he and Hache plate together on their tasting menu described as “classically French” with “Texan flair.”

Hôtel de Crillon, which joined Rosewood Hotels & Resorts in December 2013, is a Paris landmark. Currently closed until 2015 for a complete restoration, the hotel was originally built in 1758 for Louis XV and overlooks Place de la Concorde.

The tasting menu is $115 per person and available during dinner hours. Reserve a table at  214 443 4747 or www.rosewoodhotels.com/mansion.
