Hot Date: Les Dames d’Escoffier “Raiser Grazer” dine-around fundraiser is this Sunday, September 28, but you have to buy your discounted ticket TODAY

The Dallas Chapter of Les Dames d’Escoffier (you know, the all-female cast of culinary pros who swear their organization is not a sorority) will hold its annual fundraiser, the “Raiser Grazer,”  on Sunday, September 28, from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. at The Shed in the Dallas Farmers Market downtown. Billed as “A Fresh Approach to the Raiser Grazer,” this year’s dine-around features 20 cheffy members of Les Dames. Each of them is creating a dish using produce from  local farmers whose goods are available in the Dallas Market.

Tiffany Derry will be there, serving salmon tartare with avocado and olive tapenade; so will Lisa Perini (representing her Perini Ranch with beef tenderloin), so will Dunia Borga of La Duni Latin Kitchen (serving pistachio ice cream), Lisa Moore (serving big dishes of Fluent), plus a gaggle of other notable female chefs.

Tickets to “A Fresh Approach to the Raiser Grazer” are $65 per person if you buy them TODAY.  After today, tickets are $75 per person. You’ll need a ticket  (www.LDEIdallas.org).

“Proceeds benefit the chapter’s scholarship fund, endowments, and programs dedicated to advancing women in the food, wine and hospitality professions. The organization is dedicated to supporting and promoting the achievement of women in professions of the table and fostering excellence through educational and charitable activities,” says Les Dames.
