Bob’s Steak and Chop House to open three new steakhouses this year


 is expanding their marquee hotel steakhouse, Bob’s Steak & Chop House, into three new Omni locations this year:  Amelia Island, Fla., Carlsbad, Calif., and New York, N.Y.  Bob Sambol, the original Bob in Bob’s, opened the first Bob’s in Dallas in 1993; he later sold his interest to a group that included his then-business partner Bill Lenox, who now serves as president of Bob’s Steak & Chop House.

Bob’s operates 11 locations in Texas, Arizona, California, and Tennessee, Bob’s plans to open in the Omni Amelia Island Plantation Resort in Amelia Island, Fla., in March, then open at Omni La Costa Resort & Spa in Carlsbad, Calif., in June. Then, in September, Bob’s plans to open at Omni Berkshire Place in midtown Manhattan. The restaurants will open within existing restaurant spaces at each property.
