Dallas food and wine festival “Savor Dallas” returns April 6-9 with BBQ, tastings, cocktails and brunch

The Dallas Morning News rolls out its annual food and wine festival on April 6 with a line-up of host chefs that include some real talent. Even better: 75 participating restaurants/chefs, 450 wines and 75 spirits.

Savor Dallas, now in its 13th year, will span four days — April 6-9 — and touch all the bases of delicious. That means a barbecue on April 6, a cocktail party on April 7, a reserve wine and spirits tasting on April 8 and a Sunday brunch on April 9. Each of the events will be helmed by a team of “host chefs” whose roster includes Kirstyn Brewer, Katherine Clapner (Dude, Sweet Chocolate) Matt Dallman (18th & Vine), Graham Dodds, Omar Flores (Casa Rubia and Whistle Britches), Brian Luscher (The Grape), Misti Norris, Stephen Rogers (Gemma), Nathan Tate (Rapscallion and Boulevardier), and David Uygur (Lucia).

A portion of the proceeds is earmarked to benefit Cafe Momentum.

Tickets are available now at www.SavorDallas.com. Prices range between $55 to $400, with à la carte options and all-inclusive packages available.
