Cane Rosso will debut its neapolitan pizzas – and an oven shaped like a Dallas Cowboys football helmet – at the Star in Frisco on Monday, July 31

Pizza man Jay Jerrier sent word to EscapeHatch today that he’s set to unlock the doors to his newest Cane Rosso pizza, at the Star in Frisco, on Monday, July 31. Cane Rosso specializes in thin, droopy, wood-fired neapolitan-style pizzas. The Star in Frisco is also HQ to the Dallas Cowboys.

Cane Rosso’s wood-fired oven was custom built in Naples by Italian craftsmen who probably shook their heads when the order for an oven shaped like a Dallas Cowboys football helmet rolled in.

Cane Rosso serves pizzas, pastas, sandwiches, salads, cocktails, beers and wines, but no ranch dressing. The Star location will also offer a star-shaped pizza topped with ricotta, pepperoni, arugula and local tomatoes, plus Cow Tipping Creamery’s soft-serve ice creams for dessert.
