The founder of Del Frisco’s is launching a new steakhouse in DFW. Here’s the opening date.

The co-founder of Del Frisco’s Double Eagle Steakhouse is back in business! Dee Lincoln has teamed with Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones to open Dee Lincoln Prime, a prime steakhouse that will open next Monday, November 27 at The Star in Frisco.  Lincoln hopes Dee Lincoln Prime will recapture the spirit and success of her original Del’s.

For Dee Lincoln Prime, B. Russo Designs and Lincoln’s team created a bold, modern design with intricately carved woods, pops of bright colors and plenty of glass windows to allow light to spill in. A back wall is lined with memorabilia, photos and press clippings of Lincoln’s hospitality career. (See if you can spot the clip from a story I once wrote about her.)

What’s back? The rose motif, which Lincoln and Russo wove into ceramics, paintings and textiles. Know what else is back? Allen Bros. prime steaks, a wine cellar with Napa superstars, and Dee Lincoln greeting guests — she say’s you’ll see her in the dining room nearly every night.

TJ Lengnick heads Lincoln’s culinary ops, which includes sushi chef Mark Tungcmittrong (you might know him from Sushi Rock in Richardson or Dallas restaurants Steel or Tei-An) and a master sommelier who Lincoln says will join the team in January.

Tungcmittrong’s sushi creations are stunners, which means “I don’t have to serve one of those giant seafood towers ever again,” Lincoln says.
