Tacos, tacos and tacos headline at the Fort Worth Food & Wine Festival, Taco Libre, plus free breakfast tacos at Go-Go and smoked brisket tacos at Tacos Mariachi and One90 Smoked Meats

This week seems to be filled with tasty taco news. Beginning today and running for the next few Wednesdays, Tacos Mariachi (we’re big fans of owner Jesus Carmona) and One90 Smoked Meats are teaming up on smoked brisket tacos.

Then this weekend, two fun taco-based events are worth your while. First, it’s Tacos and Tequila on Thursday night. The snack-til-you-drop event is the saucy opening of the annual Fort Worth Food & Wine Festival., The FWFWF runs through the weekend and marks the return of one of Texas’ best food and wine festivals. (Check out the entire list of events here).

On Saturday, it’s the return of Taco Libre, a taco festival spearheaded by Taco Trail’s Jose Ralat, with music, $2 tacos and spicy libations (grab tickets here).

But wait, there’s more! Next Tuesday, beginning at 7 a.m.and running until supplies run out, Go-Go, a new take-out shop in the Dallas Design District, is giving away free breakfast tacos. No purchase necessary. Let’s hope their supply runs more than a dozen deep.
