Fort Worth Food + Wine Festival kicks off Thursday, April 4, with four days of tacos, bbq, wines, burgers, chefs, music and tequila

The annual Fort Worth Food + Wine Festival kicks off four days of big Cowtown fun beginning Thursday, April 4 then with a tacos and tequila event then wrapping up Sunday with a big city bbq cookout at Heart of the Ranch at Clearfork.

In fact, nearly all the events this year take place under the broad oak arms of Heart of the Ranch. Nearly all of the events are sold out or are close to selling out, so act now to snag some tickets.

A few tickets remain for Thursday’s Tacos + Tequila, which pairs the two Southwestern favorites with eight chefs.

On the following night, Friday’s Main Event brings 100 wines, craft beers and spirits plus chefs from the DFW region together for a dine-around event at the Heart of the Ranch.

The party moves to Whiskey Ranch for Desserts after Dark, where 16 pastry chefs and 14 cocktail mix masters do their thing using TX Whiskey as an ingredient.

Then Saturday, April 6 takes ticket holders back to Heart of the Ranch for a morning brunch with more dine-around food, a beer garden, wines, an artisan marketplace and live music.

That evening, it’s Burgers, Brews + Blues, my favorite FWFWF event, which celebrates a trio of all-American classics – sliders, craft beer and blues – at another Heart of the Ranch party. Thirteen chefs will grill up their best mini-burgers while 22 craft breweries each pour two different beers.

Sunday morning, April 7, brings more eating and drinking (well, it is a food + wine festival) with Ring of Fire, a new event that features live fire cooking, 22 chefs, 15 beverage purveyors, bbq, pizza, live music and sunshine at Heart of the Ranch.

Your ticket to each event covers all of the food and beverages you can (responsibly) consume at the event.
