Dee Lincoln Opening New Tasting Room and Bubble Bar in Uptown
Dee Lincoln, the energetic fireball who co-founded Del Frisco’s Double Eagle Steakhouse a decade ago, is opening another Dee Lincoln’s Tasting Room and Bubble Bar.
The wine-by-the-glass concept debuted last year on the Silver Suite Level of Cowboys Stadium. Now, Lincoln hopes to find similar success in Uptown, the first of several new Bubble Bars she hopes to open. Lincoln has targeted a trendy location on McKinney Avenue near the Ritz-Carlton Hotel and hopes to have the second Dee Lincon’s Tasting Room open by early fall. Like her setup at Cowboys Stadium, the new location will feature specialty cocktails and champagne–and 48 ultra-premium wines sold by the ounce using a computerized self-serve system.
In addition, she and her brother, Ricky Comardelle, are looking to expand their Lake Lewisville restaurant and bar concept, The Dinghy, to other marinas around the country. The Dinghy on Pier 121 serves a varied menu that includes Allen Bros. prime steaks, “pigs that fly” (pork shanks fashioned into drumsticks that are quickly fried and boldly seasoned), fried shrimp, salads and a mix of Cajun dishes.
