Circo TX, Le Cirque NYC’s troubled young sibling, has closed

Nine months is all it took for Circo TX, the troubled Dallas offshoot of famous NYC restaurant brand Le Cirque, to open, close and generate a lot of ill will.

The Dallas Observer reported the closure today. We’d been asking management all last week if a closure was imminent — an insider’s response was easily interpreted as “maybe.”

That “maybe” became a “yes” on Sunday, as Circo shuttered. $7 million out the window and into the rooftop pool. You can find the details on the Observer, but it’s not pretty.
