Mi Cocina in Highland Park Village is closing Sunday for the summer

The uber-busy Highland Park Village location of Tex-Mex restaurant chain Mi Cocina will close Sunday for a refresh, remodel and maybe even a third-floor patio redo.

A well-placed source says the rehab is likely to keep the restaurant shuttered for two months, which probably won’t impact their customer base too much since they tend to summer in Aspen, Telluride and the Riviera. Plus it gives them more time to hang out at Mesero.
