El Rincon now serving its USA Today ranked Tex-Mex food in Frisco

​El Rincon Mexican Kitchen & Tequila Bar​ opened its second DFW location today, an indoor-outdoor space in Frisco at the Shops at Stonebriar.

The new restaurant takes over the former Mellow Mushroom space, a pizza chain that’s had a tough time growing in DFW.

El Rincon, “the corner,” opened in downtown Carrollton in 2016. The restaurant focuses on a Tex-Mex and Mexican dishes made with fresh ingredients. I ranked the original El Rincon among the best in DFW in this USA Today story.
