Queso Beso brings Tex-Mex to Main Street

The folks behind the giant eye sculpture on Main Street have added a cheesy element to their Main Street development: a new Tex-Mex resto called Queso Beso, which debuts today in the former Sol Irlandes restaurant space.

Queso Beso specializes in- yes -queso, but also Tex-Mex faves like tacos, enchiladas, margaritas and combo plates (check out the menu above). Queso Beso is the Headington Companies’ twelfth restaurant, a portfolio that includes downtown Dallas restos Americano, CBD Provisions, Mirador, Midnight Rambler, Commissary and Weekend Coffee. The company also owns Joule Hotel hotel, The Eye sculpture, and is constructing a steakhouse in the former FT33 space in the Dallas Design District.
