The Old Monk is closing (but just for a week)
Owners of The Old Monk, one of Dallas’ mainstay hangouts, say the 22-year-old bar will close Monday, January 13th until Monday, January 20th for a nip and tuck. Or maybe it’s a skillful facelift.
Either way, if the Monk is your spot, you’ll have to drink somewhere else while the owners reno some equipment, redo a bathroom and perform some needed maintenance.
