Fish City Grill marks its 25th Anniversary with blue logo, but wife still wants silver
I can’t imagine how this is noteworthy except that maybe silver is no longer the go-to standard to mark a 25th anniversary? Well, at least it’s true if you’re the seafood restaurant Fish City Grill.
A Fish City spokesperson sends word that the restaurant’s owners have settled on a new blue logo and branding campaign for Fish City’s 25th anniversary.
“Customers will first see the new logo uniforms and menus, but eventually the new look will be carried out in every aspect of the dining experience,” the spokesperson tells EscapeHatch.
“The branding was designed with the Fish City Grill Customer in mind,” says the spokesperson. “As the company has grown to 20 restaurants, the Customer base has also evolved. The stylized fish and cooler blue color palette was selected to appeal to today’s broader dining demographics without confusing their current Customers.”
Couple of questions here. Why is Customer capitalized? Also, if a color other than blue would confuse Fish City’s Customers, then the restaurant’s “oyster nachos” and “Bering Sea snow crab” are really gonna throw them for a loop.
Anyway, look for new menu items to launch this quarter. The new blue logo, which “was also chosen to reflect the company’s Core Values of Respect, Inclusiveness, and Integrity and its Culture of creating an awesome place for Team Members and Customers,” will pop up at Fish City Grill’s 18 locations over the next several months.
