Legacy Hall pulls the plug on Sea Breeze Lobsta & Chowda House

Looks like Sea Breeze Lobsta & Chowda House is getting the boot from its upstairs perch at Legacy Hall. A spokeswoman for Sea Breeze sends word today that the seafood kiosk will close on Sunday, March 15, following a two year run at the food hall:

After two successful years sharing favorites including lobster rolls and clam chowder with fans at Plano’s Legacy Hall, Sea Breeze Lobsta & Chowda House will close on Sunday, March 15. Owner Rick Oruch was asked to close by hall owners.

“We’ve loved our time at Legacy Food Hall, and will miss seeing those guests,” explained Oruch. “It appears the hall owners would like to go another way. We’re happy, though, that we can continue to serve all the favorites from Legacy Hall at Sea Breeze Fish Market & Grill, where we’ve been serving fantastic fresh fish for over a decade.”
In addition to their regular menu, Sea Breeze Lobsta & Chowda House will serve Lenten specials. Each Friday during Lent, beginning on Friday, Feb. 28 and continuing until March 13, Sea Breeze will offer Fish Fridays.

For both lunch and dinner, the popular food market stall will offer fish & chips for only $14.

Staff at Sea Breeze Lobsta & Chowda House have been notified of the impending closure and have been offered positions at the family’s other Plano restaurant, Sea Breeze Fish Market & Grill. The Oruch family is looking for alternative locations for Sea Breeze Lobsta & Chowda House to reopen.
