Nosh Bistro seems to have closed

Update: A Nosh spokesperson responded this afternoon: “Nosh Bistro executive chef Avner Samuel plans to retire effective today in order to spend more time with his family. Nosh will continue to operate as scheduled under the Refined Hospitality Concepts umbrella.” Hmm, What’s the over/under on this one? I know where the smart money will be.

It seems the days were numbered for Avner Samuel’s Nosh Bistro restaurant, and now that number now looks to be zero.

Insiders at Nosh’s parent company (which also owns Primo’s MX and Dallas Proper) told EscapeHatch last week that Nosh would hold on through Valentine’s Day but no longer.  Our sources tell us Nosh closed after service Saturday night.

Avner Samuel, the talented chef behind Nosh, didn’t respond to a query. Calls to the restaurant weren’t answered.

We’re told the owners plan to tinker with the space then re-open the restaurant with a different name and concept.
