The Standard Pour lands this summer at the Shops of Legacy in Plano
Restaurateurs Brad Woy and Eddie “Lucky” Campbell will bring Uptown Dallas’ popular cocktail den The Standard Pour – and “dramatic changes” – to the former Taco Diner space at the Shops of Legacy in Plano this summer.
Signs went up on the storefront yesterday announcing TSP’s arrival, Woy told EscapeHatch.
“We’ll create the the same pre-prohibiton feel as the original Standard Pour in Uptown,” said Woy, who owns TSP with business partner Campbell and a small group of investors. Woy and Campbell also own The Clover Club in Uptown.
“We’re making dramatic changes to the space,” Woy said, adding that the bar will be the central focus of the 3,500-square-foot space, “and the patio will be one of the best ever, with lots of natural shade. The sun sets behind us so people will love to hang out there.
Woy and Campbell have owned Uptown’s The Standard Pour for two years, “and the time is right to grow the brand,” Woy said. “Legacy was our first choice for a location north of I-635 because the customer base in Plano is perfect for us. I think we’ll be good fit for the neighborhood.”
Look for a June opening.
