Fort Worth chef Lanny Lancarte intros Eat Fajitas, a new fajitas-and-margaritas delivery resto

Fort Worth chef Lanny Lancarte has finally launched his new fajitas-and-margaritas concept, called Eat Fajitas. But you can’t visit it or even pick up your food to-go. Instead Eat Fajitas is delivery-only, operated from a “ghost” kitchen which houses the kitchen but no customer-facing components; it’s delivery only.

Lancarte told me more than a year ago that he’d been focusing on every element of Eat Fajitas, including delivery areas, packaging and pricing. Customers order from the website, eatfajitas.com, or directly from the Eat Fajitas phone app, which will be available later this month. The service operates from 11:30 a.m. until 8 pm daily. Prices for fajitas begin at roughly $18 per person, including delivery. Chips, beer and wines are also available for delivery.

The menu doesn’t stray far from fajita basics: beef, chicken, combo or veggie fajita platters, few simple sides, margarita kits and desserts – including from-scratch churros and a variety of paletas made by FW’s Melt Ice Creams. The delivery area covers most of Fort Worth.

Lancarte also owns the FW health-conscious restaurant Righteous Foods.
