Mot Hai Ba has opened in Dallas’ Victory Park

Chef Peja Krstic has finally opened a second branch of Dallas’ best Vietnamese restaurant, Mot Hai Ba. Located at 665 High Market St. in Victory Park, the new space is a real looker, done up with dark, broody greys, plush booths, plank tile floors and a wall of cross-cut tree trunks that lend an organic feel to complement Krstic’s stellar cooking.

Plexiglass divides guests seated at the long chef’s counter from servers and cooks, which means the restaurant is doing more than simply nodding at social distancing rules.

Fans of Mot Hai Ba will find a lot to like at the new outpost, including bowls of pho and plates of shaking beef, fried squash blossoms, baked tile fish and caramel pork dumplings.

The restaurant is now accepting a limited number of reservations during its soft opening this week. Hours are limited to 6 pm until 9 pm. To check availability, ping the restaurant at
