KFC and WalMart are now selling the perfect winter gift – a fireplace log that smells like KFC’s fried chicken

What’s better than milk and cookies by the fireplace? Fried chicken in the fireplace. And KFC has figured out just how to bring their eleven herbs and spices to your living room without the actual bird.

The Colonel and his crew have partnered for the third year with Enivro-Log to sell a log that they say smells like KFC’s iconic fried chicken. The logs are available right now, while supplies last, at area WalMart stores for $15.88. Buy extra – they make cool White Elephant Christmas gifts and could solve the dilemma of what to get someone who seems to have everything (except a fireplace log that smells a little like KFC).

“For the past two years we have warmed the hearts and homes of our fried-chicken fans during the holiday season with our 11 Herbs & Spices Firelog,” KFC chief marketer Andrea Zahumensky said of the red-hot logs. “Although this year may look different, we hope that by expanding our exclusive partnership with Enviro-Log and Walmart, people can once again grab a fried-chicken scented firelog, order a bucket of chicken from KFC, and savor the tastes, smells and warmth of what has become our favorite holiday tradition.”
