Whataburger intros LTO spicy chicken sandwich, Hatch chile-bacon cheeseburger
Texas-based burger behemoth Whataburger launched two new, big-flavored items to their menus this week, but they may not last long. Now available at all Whataburger restaurants, the limited-time-only sandwiches are a spicy chicken sandwich and a Hatch chile-bacon cheeseburger that crispy, crunchy, spicy food fans may find irresistible.
The Hatch Burger sandwiches two fresh all-beef patties topped with Hatch green chiles, crispy bacon, a slice of American cheese, a slice of Monterey Jack cheese and creamy mayo inside a five-inch toasted bun.
“For all our Hatch green chile fans out there, you know how great they are. If you’ve never had Hatch green chiles, this is a great introduction,” said Whataburger Vice President of Marketing and Innovation Rich Scheffler.
The new chicken sando teams a marinated, crispy chicken filet with leaf lettuce, tomatoes, pickles and Mayo inside a toasted four-inch bun.
Two two new items are available at all Whataburger stores for walk-in (where that’s a Covid option), curbside pickup or delivery via Whataburger’s app or Whataburger.com.
