A Pappy Van Winkle dinner for whiskey lovers doubles down with Weller bourbon, chef Sarah Bell’s cooking on April 28


The Ranch at Las Colinas is hosting an exclusive “Most Wanted” whiskey dinner on April 28 that will pair its ranch-to-table cuisine with Pappy Van Winkle and Weller whiskeys.

If you’re a Pappy fan, you already know how tough it is to find the good stuff. The Ranch at Las Colinas’ four-course dinner on April 28 will bring the Good Stuff plus even more good stuff – Weller whiskeys and chef Sarah Bell’s cooking – to your table. The prix fixe menu includes:

First course:

Saddlebag Stash ­– Weller Special Reserve paired with pan de campo, jalapeño cherry jam, herbed tomato crisp and venison jerky.

Second course:

Cattle & Cactus – Pappy Van Winkle 10 Year paired with chayote, D’Anjou, prickly pear vinaigrette, piñón, beef bacon lardon and manchego.

Third course:

Range & Grain – Weller Full Proof paired with coffee crusted bison, Madeira sauce, fava bean and polenta.

Fourth course:

Well Shucks – Pappy Van Winkle 12 Year paired with roasted sweet corn, smoky blackberry and blue cornmeal galletta.
