Meridian, the new Dallas resto from chef Nilton “Junior” Borges, to open May 11

Taking to Facebook to announce the opening date, notable Dallas chef Junior Borges says his Meridian restaurant will begin supper service on May 11. The restaurant is part of the rejuvenation of The Village, a landmark multifamily neighborhood near Lovers Lane and Greenville Avenue in Dallas.

The menu looks good – especially looking forward to the grilled strawberries with lemon cremeux and lemon verbena for dessert.

A slew of other restaurants are planned for the Village, including Buzz & Bustle, Dive In, Aferglow, Roundhouse Food Hall, a wine bar called Anise. Meridian is located at 8310 Southwestern Boulevard. Reservations open shortly.
