Get ready – Mesero’s perfect Margaritas will soon be flowing like water in Southlake

The perfect margarita does exist — it’s the La Doña at Mesero, a slushy tumble of Herradura reposado tequila, Cointreau and fresh citrus that channels the vibe of a Mexican beach so convincingly you may forget for a moment that you’re in Texas. And this fall, that perfect Margarita, plus its zero-sugar/zero-carb gemela and the city’s best frozen ‘rita will all be flowing like water at a new Mesero in Southlake.

Mesero owner and CEO Trey Dyer says he’ll soon begin construction on a 7,500-square-foot Mesero restaurant at 1471 E. Southlake Blvd., in the high-brow shopping center anchored by Central Market.

“Howard Wang’s is moving out, and we’re moving in,” Dyer said of the location. Plans call for a bold interior design and refashioning the patio into an indoor/outdoor space that feels tightly integrated with the interior dining room.

Mesero specializes in “modern Tex-Mex” and ranked among the best in DFW in USA Today. The restaurants attract a bustling social scene that gathers for icy Margaritas, asada tacos, brisket nachos, enchilada combo plates, and a double-patty “Rose” burger that Texas Monthly magazine ranked among the best in the state.

The Southlake location will be the second Mesero in Tarrant County and the seventh overall.
