Oak’d BBQ throwing $15 BBQ BASH on Saturday, June 12

Oak’d BBQ is celebrating the end of pandemic solitude (for those of us vaccinated) with a BBQ Bash that includes ‘cue, live music, corn hole games and a meet-and-greet with Oak’d investors Kellie Rasberry, Allen Evans and pitmaster Michael Lane on Saturday, June 12, from 6 p.m. until 10:30 p.m. .

A $15 pass grants you access to an “endless supply” (their words) of sliders (prime rrisket, chopped pork, turkey, sausage), pork ribs, plus sides like beans, mac and cheese, slaw, roasted veggies and potato salad.

Who can’t eat $15 worth of good ‘cue? Or even more importantly: What if there’s no BBQ left when you get there?

When Oak’d first opened, in November, I wrote that their ‘cue was some of the best in Dallas. Subsequent visits didn’t deliver the same thrills. Hoping by June 12, they’ve repaired the ride.

It’s worth a $15 ticket to find out, right?
