EscapeHatch favorite Malai Kitchen expands to Preston Center

Last week we told you about an inventive new wine experience that planned to open in Preston Center. Now we’re happy to reveal that one of our staff favorites, Malai Kitchen, also plans to make the jump to the shopping center at Preston Rd. and Northwest Hwy., with a menu of from-scratch sriracha and Asian sauces, Thai and Vietnamese curries, and craft beers.

Owners Yasmin and Braden Wages have leased the former Bartaco location for the fourth restaurant in their growing Malai portfolio. The new store at 6130 Luther Ln. will debut this fall and serve lunch, dinner and weekend brunch.

Other Malai locations include Southlake, Fort Worth’ Clearfork, and the original store in Dallas’ West Village.
