Take a VIPeek inside Harper’s, Milkshake Concepts’ new Dallas resto-bar with Jacob Williamson as chef


Milkshake Concepts – Imran Sheikh, James Faller and Asim Sheikh and the team behind restaurants Stirr, Vidorra, Citizen, Serious Pizza, Dirty Bones, and SkyRocket Burger – unwrap Harper’s, their newest high-key resto-bar concept, Thursday, August 5. Like all the Milkshake restaurants built de novo, Harper’s is a real looker, inspired by Imran Sheikh’s global travels and eye for design.

You’ll want to begin with cocktails – barman KK Holly created some of the best in town – then follow with whatever chef Jacob Williamson (with an assist from Milkshake’s culinary director Rodman Shields) is recommending that day from a menu that includes ceviches, steaks, chicken served in a pretty tagine, foie-stuffed potstickers, even pizza.

Harper’s anchors the Epic Building on the edge of Deep Ellum, with a broad patio and lots of dining nooks inside for swapping plates, kisses or business cards.
