This cool tumbler lid is your football game’s new best friend

Tailgating, meet your new best friend: the FlasKap Madic, an innovate tumbler lid that’s about to elevate every one of your games this fall – and probably your skiing this winter, your fishing next spring and your boating, camping and porch time next summer.

Designed to take the place of your tumbler’s standard lid, the $30 Madic-6 contains a top compartment that stores then pours up to six shots of your favorite liquor into the tumbler below at the press of a button, a half-shot at a time (there’s also a nine-shot, $35 Madic-9,)

The spill-proof, leak-proof cap fits most 20-ounce stainless steel tumblers, but it holds an entire afternoon’s worth of spirited fun.

“It pays for itself in one use compared to buying $10 drinks,” touts FlaskKap’s website. “It’s like getting paid to drink.” After a few lazy afternoons with this in our hands (Flaskap sent us one to try), we aren’t going to argue.

In fact, you’re probably going to need to buy two: one for you, and one for your tailgating friend who isn’t going to shut up about how you didn’t also get one for her.
