A famous Houston-based donut expert sweetens DFW with 25 new stores, from-scratch donuts
<span style=”caret-color: #373737; color: #373737; font-family: Montserrat, Helvetica, Arial, sans-serif”>Houston’s Shipley Do-Nuts has inked a deal to open 25 new locations in the Dallas-Fort Worth area. The from-scratch donutery fries its fresh, made-in-store donuts on site each day and also fresh-bakes kolaches.
New Shipley locations are planned for Coppell, Denton, Garland, Irving, Las Colinas, Lewisville, McKinney, Prosper, Roanoke, Rockwall and Rowlett.
The fast-growing brand operates at more than 330 locations (including one in Bedford) and has franchise commitments in place to open an additional 300 stores over the next five years in Texas and across the Southeast.
Construction on the new DFW units begins next year.
