Mt. Rushmore pop-up at Dallas Galleria this weekend offers ice skating photo ops with George, Tom, Teddy and Abe

 

The South Dakota Department of Tourism is taking over the Galleria Dallas Ice Skating Center on February 19-21, 2022 with a monumental pop-up in celebration for Presidents’ Day weekend.

The four-day event is part of the state’s marketing push and includes a replica of South Dakota’s Mount Rushmore National Memorial, positioned on center ice, allowing skaters to get up close to the monument for photos. State tourism reps will be on hand to answer questions, discuss trip ideas and give away prizes. (The prizes and photo ops are free, but you still have to pay for the skating.)
