Old 75 Beer Garden brings new patio vibes to Richardson

, a new outdoor venue with live music, food, beers and a dog-friendly patio, has opened its doors in Richardson at 740 S. Central Expressway.

That’s the same coordinates as Richardson Restaurant Park, a strip center that includes Halal Guys and Dog Haus outlets. Rob Stevens, Old 75’s developer, formerly led operations at Top Golf and worked as director of finance for Dickey’s BBQ.

Two bars, a performance stage and rentable cabanas anchor Old 75’s indoor/outdoor space. Two dozen beers and six specialty drinks pour from the taps, though Double Zero Margaritas are not among the bars’  current offerings.

Kitchen recipes like Green Chile Queso, chicken fried steaks and burgers nod to Dallas, South Texas and New Mexico.

In addition to live music on most nights, Old 75 Beer Garden plans to host pop-ups and events throughout the year, including Backyard BBQs, Crawfish Boils, Steak Night, and “Oktoberfestivities.”
