Haywire restaurant wins prestigious dining award from national organization

The awards keep coming for Haywire restaurants in Plano and Uptown, and their OG flagship, The Ranch at Las Colinas.

Haywire Restaurant sends word that it’s Plano location has been awarded a 2023 Distinguished Restaurant of North America (DiRōNA) Award. It’s a big deal, says Judd Fruia, the Vice President of Operations for parent company FB Society.

“We are absolutely thrilled and deeply honored to receive the prestigious DiRōNA Award. This remarkable achievement stands as a testament to the unwavering passion and dedication of our exceptional team, who consistently strive to curate unforgettable dining experiences for our esteemed guests,” Fruia told us via email.

The DiRōNA Award celebrates restaurants that consistently surpass expectations in culinary craftsmanship. In 2023, fewer than 650 restaurants in the United States, Canada, Mexico, and the Caribbean received the DiRōNA Award.

Scott Breard, the Chairman of DiRōNA, praised Haywire in the announcement. “The Distinguished Restaurants of North America is delighted to announce the addition of Haywire in Plano to our esteemed list of DiRōNA-awarded restaurants,” writes Breard. “Patrons can anticipate an exhilarating menu at Haywire, featuring a range of delectable offerings such as elk tacos, venison chili, and an extensive selection of Texas beef and fish.
