Ready for fall? 7-Eleven introduces cool-weather coffee lineup with Pumpkin Spice flavors, apple cider donuts
7-Eleven, the world’s largest convenience store brand, has already jumped into pumpkin spice season.
Beginning this week, participating 7-Eleven, Speedway, and Stripes locations throughout the United States will be offering a variety of pumpkin spice options and fall snacky things.
While the famed Pumpkin Spice Latte at Starbucks often dominates conversations about autumnal coffee, other coffee and fast food brands have joined in on the seasonal trend. 7-Eleven and its associated brands are making their mark by offering Pumpkin Spice Lattes and Pumpkin Coffees. Pumpkin Syrup can also be added to any drink.
Announcing the fall intros, 7-Eleven Senior Vice President of Merchandising (and EscapeHatch friend) Dennis Phelps says the early rollout is a response to customer demand.
7-Eleven seems to have beaten Starbucks to the punch by nearly a month; the Seattle-based chain typically debuts its fall menu in late August.
In addition to the pumpkin coffees, 7-Eleven, Stripes, and Speedway stores have also added glazed Apple Cider Donuts, Apple Snack Pies, Apple Danishes and pumpkin muffins. They’ll all be available at participating stores through October 31.
We popped into the corporate HQ store in Valley Ranch today looking for the Apple Cider Donuts but struck out. “I hear they’re coming but we haven’t seen them yet,” a manager on duty told me.
