Dallas-based Haywire steakhouse is expanding to three new Texas cities
FB Society, the prominent Dallas-based restaurant group, is set to extend its mark in the Texas culinary scene with the opening of three new Haywire locations next year. The company is also growing its Sixty Vines wine bar and restaurant concept. The new additions underscore the brands’ growing reputations as dining destinations.
Haywire, the celebrated Texas-themed steakhouse and whiskey bar, will open a location in Austin next fall at Domain Northside. Haywire’s prominent, corner location neighbors popular establishments like Houndstooth Coffee, Kung Foo Saloon, Salvation Pizza Kitchen, and Lotus Chinese. The restaurant will offer a 11,000-square-foot dining area and generate more than 100 jobs. Haywire was founded in Las Colinas as The Ranch at Las Colinas, and now operates that location plus Haywire restaurants in Plano and Uptown Dallas. In addition to the Austin Haywire, the company plans to open locations in Houston next Spring and San Antonio next summer.
“Texas is our home,” Judd Fruia, Haywire’s vice president of operations, tells EscapeHatch. “Our guests come to us from all parts of the state, and they tell us our brand of gracious hospitality will be welcomed in Austin, San Antonio and Houston.”
In addition to Haywire, Sixty Vines is set to open a location in Austin next summer, also at The Domain. The restaurant and wine bar will take over the space currently occupied by California Pizza Kitchen. The brand is known for utilizing taps to reduce waste from traditional wine bottles and corks. Their menu leans casual: charcuterie boards, sharable plates, salads, and an array of pizzas.
FB Society, the parent company of Haywire and Sixty Vines, operates a nationally recognized portfolio of restaurants that includes The Ranch and Son of a Butcher.
