Mesero is in blastoff mode, landing in Nashville, Oklahoma City next year

Boom.

Dallas-based Mesero’s trajectory has been a steady climb, Now it’s in blastoff mode.

The Dallas-based restaurant group tells EscapeHatch that they’ll open a Mesero restaurant in Nashville next year, adding to stores under construction in Oklahoma City and Allen (we told you about those here). The three new stores, which Mesero CEO Trey Dyer says will open next year, will boost the company’s store count to 10.

The Nashville location is in a first-class development on 12th Avenue, south of downtown. It will offer a spacious dining room at double height with an open kitchen on one side, a broad patio outdoors and pops of color throughout. It’ll be a contemporary design to match Mesero’s modern take on Tex-Mex cuisine, the kind of elevated dining that led USA Today to name Mesero one of Dallas’ top Tex-Mex restaurants.

Known for dishes like brisket tacos, Double Zero “skinny” frozen margaritas and shrimp-loaded ceviche, Mesero is a favorite among DFW residents — and our EscapeHatch crew.
