Sanjh, a new upscale Indian restaurant in Las Colinas, aims for star-level dining
Sanjh, a new upscale Indian restaurant in Las Colinas, has opened. The restaurant focuses on regional Indian cuisine and is located along Lake Carolyn.
Sanjh, which means “evenings” in Hindi, is the first restaurant from Tivona Group, a new Dallas-Fort Worth hospitality company. The restaurant’s menu covers every region in India.
Chef Balpreet Singh Chadha said in a written statement, “We have strived to show every part of India on the menu wherever we could.”
The drink list is regionally focused too.
Yangdup Lama, the restaurant’s director of mixology, said, “If you were to put together all our cocktails, they would create a beautiful map of India.” For example, the Madras Mail is made with curry leaf-infused rum and tamarind syrup to represent the culinary traditions of South India.
The aim at Sanjh is to give diners the feeling they’ve been “whisked away to a convivial dinner party in India,” Chadha said. The restaurant will open for dinner only then add lunch and brunch
