Nashville Hot Chicken king Hattie B’s is opening a second Dallas location

Hattie B’s Hot Chicken, a renowned Nashville-based chain and EscapeHatch favorite, is set to revamp a 3,662-square-foot space at 3827 Lemmon Avenue in Dallas. That’s according to recent filings with the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation. The move marks the chain’s expansion into the Dallas market, adding to its existing Deep Ellum location and stores in Tennessee, Alabama, Georgia, and Las Vegas, NV.

Known for its signature Nashville-style hot chicken offered in various spice levels that range from mild to the extremely spicy “Shut the Cluck Up!!!,” Hattie B’s menu includes a variety of options such as pieces, plates, sandwiches, tenders, and unique combinations like chicken with waffles and mixed into fries.

Founded by the father-and-son duo Nick Bishop Sr. and Nick Bishop Jr., Hattie B’s has been a family-owned business since its inception in 2012. Despite canceling plans for a Houston location due to construction costs and site issues, Hattie B’s is clearly committed to expanding its presence across different regions.
