10, 12 and 13-year-old Pappy Van Winkle on this VIP menu at Monarch

Monarch, the wood-fired, modern Italian restaurant led by two-time Michelin-starred Chef Danny Grant in Chicago, is hosting a dinner featuring Pappy Van Winkle bourbons. Exec chef Eric Dreyer is no longer running Monarch’s Dallas kitchen (he left the company a few weeks ago), but Pappy could draw us back.

The Pappy Van Winkle Dinner is slated for Thursday, July 11th. It’ll be a four-course meal paired with straight Pappy Van Winkle pours, including 10, 12, and 13-year vintages. If you want to splurge further, you can upgrade to a 20-year pour for an additional $200 per person.
