Legendary Indian violinist Dr. L. Subramaniam will perform in concert at Windmills Grandscape this weekend


On Sunday, August 25, 2024, the Windmills Grandscape in The Colony, Texas, will host a concert by Dr. L. Subramaniam, a globally renowned violinist. Known for his unique and distinctive style, Dr. Subramaniam has played a pivotal role in bringing the Indian violin to the global stage. His style blends Indian and Wesyern classical music.

Dr. Subramaniam’s career is marked by collaborations with some great musicians across different genres. His accolades include the Padma Bhushan in 2001 and the Sangeet Natak Akademi Award for “The Most Creative Artist” in 1990 from the President of India.
