New Upscale Dining Experience to Debut in Fort Worth

A new dining establishment, The Mont, plans to open in the Montserrat neighborhood of Fort Worth this winter. The restaurant, an upscale New American concept, is a venture from Jeff Payne, owner of Cousin’s BBQ, and Jason Cross, the company’s Vice President of Operations.

Located at 3729 Saint Amand Circle, The Mont will aim to offer a refined dining experience inspired by seasonal ingredients and global culinary influences. The restaurant’s menu will be crafted by chef Michael Duff, formerly of Eddie V’s Fort Worth, and will emphasize modern techniques and seasonal produce.

The interior design of The Mont, handled by Fort Worth firm Maven, is described glamorous late 1950s and early 1960s. The space will feature mahogany wood, leather accents, and pretty ambient lighting.
