State Fair of Texas adds Amish donuts, Italian ices and a variety of new vendors this year
The State Fair of Texas is introducing a variety of new vendors for its 2024 run, enhancing the culinary offerings available to attendees. This year, the fair will feature over a dozen new food stands, each bringing unique flavors to the event.
Rita’s Italian Ice, located on Grand Avenue, will offer a selection of freshly made Italian ice paired with vanilla frozen custard. Flavors include blue raspberry, cotton candy, mango, mango-strawberry, and sugar-free dragon fruit, providing a refreshing option for fairgoers.
On Coliseum Drive, Korean Corn Dogs will debut with their Hot Cheetos Korean Corn Dog. This item combines a hot dog and mozzarella cheese, battered and deep-fried, then coated with spicy mayo and Hot Cheetos crumbs, offering a new twist on a fair staple.
In the Tower Building, Crepes and Co. will present their Fried Apple Cinnamon Crepe. This dish features a crepe filled with Biscoff cookie butter and caramelized apple cinnamon, topped with additional caramelized apples and cinnamon, and served with Biscoff mousse, whipped cream, and a Biscoff cookie.
Also in the Tower Building, So Eggciting Deviled Eggs will introduce a variety of deviled eggs with bold flavors, adding a new dimension to this classic dish.
Amish Doughnuts will offer traditional, handcrafted doughnuts, emphasizing fresh, homemade quality.
The fair runs from September 27 to October 20, 2024.
