Al Biernat’s steakhouse adds ultra luxe beef to menu

Even if you live 30 miles from North Dallas, it’s worth the drive to Al Biernat’s for their Allen Brothers prime steaks.

Now the steakhouse with two Dallas locations has partnered with beef purveyor Dean & Peeler on another option: Texas prime beef raised with attention to the cattle’s carbon footprint.

Dean & Peeler, based in Floresville, Texas, raises their cattle and sources their feed within 35 miles of their headquarters, which earned the company the U.S.D.A.’s newly approved “Certified Sustainable” seal for environmental responsibility.

The prime beef is wet-aged for 28 days and cut into bone-in ribeyes and bone-in strip steaks exclusively for Al Biernat’s restaurants. You won’t pull us away from their Allen Brothers steaks, but we like that there’s also a Texas-bred option.
